Activity/organization/distribution structure

Equipment leasing and finance leasing are used to finance a significant share of purchases of capital goods and company vehicles.

Equipment leasing is where a company enters into a lease contract between a company and a financial institution for a specified time. The company has the right to purchase the equipment at the end of the contract. The company therefore leases the equipment and can also purchase it outright at the end of the contract for a specified price. Another funding solution, finance leasing is an arrangement whereby the lessor does not have the option from the outset to purchase the equipment when the contract expires.

Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale operates in the equipment leasing sector through its subsidiary Crédit Mutuel Leasing. Its solutions are distributed via its two distribution networks:

  • the Crédit Mutuel banking network, under the Crédit Mutuel Leasing brand;
  • the CIC banking network, under the CIC Leasing brand.

Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale also markets leasing solutions through a network of approved partners (builders and distributors) via CCLS. The Crédit Mutuel Leasing entities and Crédit Mutuel make up one business line with complementary and multi-channel services.
